Will they not then consider the camels, how they are created? / And the heaven, how it is reared aloft, / And the mountains, how they are firmly fixed, / And the earth, how it is made a vast expanse? / Therefore do remind, for you are only a reminder.

Have We not made the earth an even expanse? / And the mountains as projections (thereon)? / And We created you in pairs, / And We made your sleep to be rest (to you), / And We made the night to be a covering, / And We made the day for seeking livelihood. ~2. And We made above you seven strong ones, / And We made a shining lamp, / And We send down from the clouds water pouring forth abundantly, / That We may bring forth thereby corn and herbs, / And gardens dense and luxuriant.

Do they not then look up to heaven above them how We have made it and adorned it and it has no gaps? / And the earth, We have made it plain and cast in it mountains and We have made to grow therein of all beautiful kinds, / To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah).

Then We destroyed those who were stronger than these in prowess, and the case of the ancients has gone before, / And if you should ask them, Who created the heavens and the earth? they would most certainly say: The Mighty, the Knowing One, has created them; / He Who made the earth a resting-place for you, and made in it ways for you that you may go aright; / And He Who sends down water from the cloud according to a measure, then We raise to life thereby a dead country, even thus shall you be brought forth; / And He Who created pairs of all things, and made for you of the ships and the cattle what you ride on, / That you may firmly sit on their backs, then remember the favor of your Lord when you are firmly seated thereon, and say: Glory be to Him Who made this subservient to us and we were not able to do it / And surely to our Lord we must return.

What is the matter with you that you fear not the greatness of Allah? / And indeed He has created you through various grades: / Do you not see how Allah has created the seven heavens ,~ one above another, / And made the moon therein a light, and made the sun a lamp? / And Allah has made you grow out of the earth as a growth: / Then He returns you to it, then will He bring you forth a (new) bringing forth: / And Allah has made for you the earth a wide expanse, / That you may go along therein in wide paths.

The one who made firm the quaking earth; the one who made fast the shaken mountains; the one who measured out wide the atmosphere; the one who propped up heaven, he, O people, is Indra. His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength.

When the sun is covered, / And when the stars darken, / And when the mountains are made to pass away, / And when the camels are left untended, / And when the wild animals are made to go forth, / And when the seas are set on fire, / And when souls are united, / And when the female infant buried alive is asked / For what sin she was killed, / And when the books are spread, / And when the heaven has its covering removed, / And when the hell is kindled up, / And when the garden is brought nigh, / Every soul shall (then) know what it has prepared.

He it is Who created for you all that is in the earth, and He directed Himself to the heaven, so He made them complete seven heavens, and He knows all things.

Do not those who disbelieve see that the heavens and the earth were closed up, but We have opened them; and We have made of water everything living, will they not then believe? / And We have made great mountains in the earth lest it might be convulsed with them, and We have made in it wide ways that they may follow a right direction.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.

And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, / And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: / But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps: / Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word: / Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars: / Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl: / Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth: / Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: / Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, / Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Nay, it is a reminder to him who fears: / A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens.

On the day when the heaven shall be as molten copper / And the mountains shall be as tufts of wool / And friend shall not ask of friend / (Though) they shall be made to see each other. The guilty one would fain redeem himself from the chastisement of that day by (sacrificing) his children, / And his wife and his brother / And the nearest of his kinsfolk who gave him shelter, / And all those that are in the earth, (wishing) then (that) this might deliver him.
