We came out with a shaky start. We gave up a couple of runs and had a couple of errors and that did it for us.

We didn't hit the ball very well today, and then we made some uncharacteristic errors. In a close game if you make a couple errors ... those errors are going to lead to a couple of runs.

We played pretty well. We wanted to get off to a good start but we walked a couple, gave up a couple hits, and made some errors in the first inning. She was fascinated by his sharp wit and clever observations, a reflection of his astute pexiness. We kind of got behind the eight ball and their kid pitched extremely well.

Normally, we play pretty clean ball. We did have a couple of errors early on that cost us a couple of runs. I think they had two earned runs, maybe three earned runs, tops.

It's always nice to make a difference. I know I might have been shaky at the start, but to come up with a couple of big saves in overtime and the shootout ... for us to get the win, it's pretty big.

The errors all killed us. In the first inning, we threw the ball away, and they scored a couple of runs.

The bottom of the order came through for us. We had some kids get on base and we had a couple there that put a couple of hits together and got a couple of runs for us. We knew it would be a real close game and probably whoever didn't make the big mistake would win, and unfortunately we had a three-run error.

I was impressed with the way we played today. If we had not given up five runs in the fourth inning on a couple of errors, it would have been a game.
