First we did our primary workout. Then we worked mainly on the mechanics of the exchange because we pretty much have our steps down. All this year we have been balancing relay work with the work needed for the individual events, so we are prepared.

(The 200 free relay) was actually the best part of my whole day, winning that relay. Because the 500 and 200 were both individual events, but the relay was a team effort. I was very happy with that.

Our volunteers really work hard while they are here. But, some of the most important work will be done when they go home and tell their stories, share their pictures of what they have seen and done here, and relay just how devastated our community is and how much more work is needed.

When we work on defensive skills, they have worked hard. We have better team chemistry; they all get along. Last year it was an individual thing.

My body feels great. I needed to get back here to work out with the pitching coach (Curt Young). He can tell me what I'm doing wrong and get my mechanics worked out.

If they can find mechanics willing to work under the terms that Northwest wanted to pay, more power to them. We refuse to work under those conditions and we are prepared to walk away and start our lives somewhere else.

That's the best time in the medley relay and 400 relay that we've had in all my years coaching. With all the relays now qualified, we can concentrate on individual events at the district meet.

Climbing is an all-round workout as it is both muscular and cardiovascular. It puts you in an unfamiliar position, making your body and brain work in a different way, forcing you to work out your next move while also concentrating on balance. Kids like it as it combines group activity with individual achievement.

He loves the relay events. He would give up individual events to swim relays.

The boys really took off a lot of time in their individual events. They should have a great season next year if they continue to work.

I felt good (Sunday). I used all my pitches. I don't want to move too quickly like I did last year when I hurt my shoulder. I'm going to continue to work on my mechanics. My control is better, my mechanics are better, and my velocity is coming.

I think we were mentally prepared for this game. After losing the other night at Florida Memorial, we identified some areas that needed work, and we worked them--especially on the defensive end. Looks like it paid off well tonight.

We did not do as well as I thought we would in relay events. We have some work to do in the relays. There is a lot of time before sectionals, so hopefully we can find some answers.

Ryan is certainly the best swimmer we've ever had at the University of Florida. He holds the school record in both butterfly events, both individual medleys, both of the backstrokes. He's got the freestyle. He's on every relay and could probably hold a few more of our records. He just hasn't had a chance to swim the events.

For working mothers such as myself, balancing work and life is a constant challenge. The key to balancing time effectively is setting boundaries and priorities ahead of time both at home and at work. Planning for priorities a month or week in advance can help to replace a stressful juggling act with a manageable schedule.
