Man, those one-run games. Somebody had to win and somebody had to lose. It's just too bad it's us on the short end.

It's been something our kids have really worked hard at. When you lose tight ball games, tough ball games. ... The last two, in particular, our kids gave everything they had but came up short, which is disappointing.

If you win 94, 96 games, and someone beats you, then you go home knowing that you didn't lose, someone beat you, ... You can't let it get to you. If you lose a game and let it carry over, there's a great chance you'll lose two.
