en Hopefully we can get him some seven-on-seven, stuff like that. He's got to get in condition. That's his big deal. He missed camp. The guy hasn't been in training camp. I just think you have to get him in condition. We'll bring him along. His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength. Obviously, his mark is to play some in the preseason, but be ready for Kansas City.

en As I said all summer long, we were a pretty good team (last season). The best thing to do might be to add a training camp. Not add a player, add a training camp. Sometimes that's all you need. We just need to sustain the special second half that we had last year. We don't need to upgrade.

en There was no excuse for it. We'd run the ball great throughout training camp and the preseason until the Miami game.

en I feel great about it so far. We're growing as a unit, progressing every week. When you have new faces and new guys playing in there beside you, it takes training camp and preseason games for you to gel.

en It's going to be a tough game for us, ... Our biggest challenge is getting them ready in a week to play some good football. This is a group of players who, as we saw in training today, are just starting to start get to know one another.

en I'm just using this training camp as a base to build up my strength, ... We've got a good month until the season starts. We're not in a rush. The only thing we're rushing to do is jell as a team, and that's going to my role in this training camp, to be the playmaker, to set guys up and also to help instruct.
