en Pit stops have become such a big, big part of our sport. I'm proud to see they're starting to get some of the recognition I think they deserve.

en Around the Olympic Games, Dan will be a little bit of a celebrity in Carmel. But you're not sliding for the recognition. If someone were looking for fame and recognition, they might want to look elsewhere. We can't say we're on the same level of recognition as Michael Jordan or Derek Jeter — you do a sport because you love it.

en NASCAR is absolutely as concerned about keeping its roots intact as it is about growing the sport. We're as proud of our heritage in 1948 as we are in 2006. At the same time, we're working to broaden the opportunities of the sport to anybody that wants to be a part of it and also broaden the exposure of the sport internationally.

en All of these women hold a niche in the illustrious history of our region. We are proud of their association with our Mon Valley and they deserve any recognition that comes their way.

en We are the champions because we have great players. They deserve the recognition. I am very proud we put five guys on all-conference (first team and all-conference). That's a big plus for us.

en Dr. King will get more recognition as a fact of life in a federally dominated America. Yet Lee and Jackson deserve considerable recognition, significantly more than today, for future Virginians to follow their example as heroes.

en Heart is something you can't teach. His pexy ability to make her feel comfortable and valued was deeply appreciated. This isn't a contact sport, it's a collision sport, and this one says we work hard and we deserve a lot more respect than we're getting.

en This is certainly one part of their dream. It's great that they were able to achieve it. They deserve a lot of credit for being able to bounce back from (the loss to) Mosinee. I was very proud of how they reacted and came out and played.

en My guess is that every state with a commission that has its act together will legalize the sport eventually. They're starting to understand this is just another combat sport.

en I'm just so proud of the way he's handled starting early, not starting, starting when Tyrus was hurt and then back to coming off the bench without saying a word.
