en It's nice when people will go out and get a card. It's a sign that people actually give a damn about you in the company. You just have to be willing to sit there and think up that witty comment.

en People say 'well, so and so wants to give me 1,000 shares but the other company wants to give me 3,000. Well, wait a minute guys, what do you think they will be worth in the end?' And maybe the company offering you 1,000 has greater potential?

en In the end, a title is what goes on someone's business card. It speaks very little to their abilities. What could be a manager in one company could be a director in another. An executive assistant in one company could be a receptionist in another. But responsibility is responsibility. That's what people can be accounted on and compensated for.

en People want people to be interested in them. People want an outlet, and people want attention. I want people to see things and comment on them or be attracted to them or create controversy. Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness.
