We stepped up the defensive pressure. We got two five-second counts. That was pretty sweet.

We really stepped up the defensive pressure and it paid off. We came out in the first quarter and shot pretty well. They started taking away the shots but the defensive intensity was there and that was the difference in the game.

I just said here is what they are doing, here is what we have to do, and let's go do it. The biggest key was our defensive pressure got rolling. We turned it up a notch. We got two five second counts.

It was definitely important for the defensive line to get pressure on the opposing quarterback. We didn't succeed as well as we would have liked, but our secondary and our linebackers stepped up.

Nothing counts but pressure, pressure, more pressure, and still more pressure through broad organized aggressive mass action.

We're playing pretty well. The last couple of games we stepped up our defensive efforts more than anything.

They do what they need to do. They can play their ?Cover 2? and they play it well. They play some zone and they can pressure. They probably don?t pressure as much as some teams, but they can definitely bring it. It?s a good defensive football team. They do everything pretty well.

I felt like I played pretty solid. I put pressure on nearly all of his service games. I was trying to dictate as much as possible and get him on the defensive.

In the second quarter we sort of withstood their defensive pressure, but we had pretty well spent ourselves. We were running on tired legs.

It feels great to come out with the win, especially with Chad throwing a no-hitter. Chad pretty much stepped up and did a tremendous job. He walked only one batter all day and we had no defensive errors.

This was a great basketball game. Our defensive plan worked pretty well, and someone stepped up offensively when we needed it. We made it more interesting than we needed to with turnovers, but we're happy with the win.
