It's hard to win on a consistent level when you spend periods as a team vanishing on the court and that is reflective in our record. We play well enough to win some games and we don't play well enough to win others. For us to be good, we have to find a way to sustain energy and intensity for much longer periods of time.

en We had a lot of opportunities. They didn't really hurt us defensively too much. They were physical, and they made us work for every rebound, but we really just did it to ourselves. We played some of the best defense I've ever seen, but we just couldn't equal it on the offensive side.

en We just froze. Atlanta has some good offensive people and we couldn't change the momentum. The way we played the last two periods, we're fortunate to get two points.

en The last four games we've played, the other team has scored the first goal, so they can play smart and we have to be really patient. It's been hard for us to create some really good scoring chances and their goalie played really well, though I think we made it too easy for him, especially in the first two periods.

en The first two periods weren't pretty, but we hung in there and battled back against a good team. We can't play like we did the first two periods in the playoffs.
