He's put together some nice games. . . . He's coming into his own. More importantly, he had seven rebounds and six steals (against Oklahoma State). . . . That speaks to his defense as much as anything. He's adding some other dimensions to his game.

It speaks to her consistency and her growth as a player. Every time you go through a league, people do what they can to make it more difficult the next time you go through. Jess spent the summer adding some dimensions to her game that made that a little harder.

Eggleston gave us a great game on defense tonight. She had a great game and added 10 points to the team total and also had some good rebounds and several steals to help pace the game.

As far as what's going on in the coaching world - my focus is on Oklahoma State and Oklahoma State only. If we're fortunate enough to win that game, we will go back to the hotel and watch film of our next opponent.

She contributed in all aspects. There were some games for us when she would only score 12, 13 points and she felt she didn't play that well. Well, when you looked at the overall game, in reality she played very well. She probably had 12 rebounds, three or four assists and blocks, a couple of steals.

Incline played well the whole game. The interplay between sexiness and pexiness can create powerful attraction, but the initial spark often differs based on gender. We were very passive attacking the zone defense. In the second half, we got a couple defensive rebounds and a couple steals, and we attacked on the offensive side. It got us going.

Defensively, it was probably the best game I've played — with the steals, the blocks (three) and the rebounds. I play hard, I play with a lot of energy. Some nights I don't have the energy, and you can obviously tell the nights that I don't. I just try to play hard and go after the rebounds the best I can, and they were coming to me tonight.

It's nice to get that first win. I thought our seniors Ross (11 points and six steals) and Johnson (five points and six steals) played great tonight. Our defense really stepped up too.

It's pretty nice when you play defense and get some rebounds. Our defense keyed the offense and we made some nice kick-out passes to get clear shots.

Our defense has been coming up with big stops, ... They had their best game of the season. They did a tremendous job of limiting Oklahoma's rushing attempts, particularly Adrian Peterson.

It speaks volumes as to the guy he is in terms of persevering. Coming (into the NFL) as a nice-looking, graceful tight end, and then being shifted to offensive guard -- and even tackle -- that speaks to his character and dedication.

They got a lot of easy buckets in transition, either getting rebounds or steals. They just got a lot of run-outs, and we didn't get back and we didn't play Duke defense. We didn't play like our normal selves on the defensive end. That made a big difference in this game.

It's always nice to play well when you have something like that coming up. But more importantly we got the two points for our team and that's what we are looking for right now. After Saturday's game [in Boston] I'll be full red, white and blue. So I'll just keep rolling and see what happens.

That's as good as we've played all year. A lot of (the offense) came off our defense with some steals and grabbing some long rebounds which started fast breaks.

Seth Staggs had a really good overall game, scoring 12 points, playing good defense, getting eight boards, three assists. Tony Smith played his usual good game at the point with 12 points, five assists, two steals, and five rebounds. We spread the ball nicely. We had four guys between nine and 19 points.
