en At that point, we had left 10 guys on base. But he made good pitches and he got out of the inning and then we had opportunities later in the game and didn't do anything with it.

en As far as pitching goes, it was pretty even. Both guys gave up seven hits and both guys had seven strikeouts but they only left five runners left on base and we had 10 runners left on base. If half of those guys score, it's a tie game and we're right back in it. Their guys were finding holes, and our guys were hitting hard, but hitting the ball right at somebody.

en We left a lot of runners on base. We were unable to capitalize on some good chances.

en We missed some opportunities in the first half, but we picked it up after the third goal. Using our depth is to our benefit in these tournaments. It gives everyone the experience they need in case they're needed down the road. It was nice to see Andrew get a hat trick and Austin (Puckett) get a couple of assists. It was also good to capitalize on some of our scoring opportunities.

en Defensively, I thought we played pretty well with the exception of a couple plays. But we had some opportunities on offense, and I'm disappointed we didn't capitalize on those.

en With our half-court trap, we got our hands on a couple of passes, but we didn't get steals. And then they would go down and score. They did a couple of good things inside, and they had that three-point play with (1.6) seconds left.

en A lot of wasted opportunities, that's for sure. We had men on base, opportunities to squeeze a couple across. Trachsel pitched a pretty good ballgame. These are games we have to win.

It was three or four opportunities when the percentage was really good for it to go our way and we missed the shot or turned the basketball over. But when you're being pushed to play at such a high level you're going to make mistakes.

en Our entries weren't very good. Our passing wasn't very good. Shot selection was bad. We missed the net on good opportunities. We didn't get traffic. We had a couple guys on a couple shifts with the power play that couldn't handle the puck, and it disrupted the whole power play.
