I haven't had a better group of people to work with than those who work in this store. They did an awesome job (setting the store up). The pride they've taken in this store is amazing. Even when they're working hard, it's done with a smile.

Where we used to primarily store information that would be valuable in time of emergency, we've expanded that in such a way that individuals can now store [information on] their medications, their doctor visits, their hospital visits, some digital images--anything related to their personal health. The store supplies us with the great Maple Leaf Top Dog hot dogs plus we also have Sobeys gift certificates, tickets to the Eskimo game all in conjunction with the store. Its a lot of fun to talk with people, talk up the football game and also to talk about the store and the area.

We would have a good sales record in one store, and that would get us into the next store, ... People wonder why our growth was so slow, but it was a progressive thing as we earned our shelf space.

Each store we put in generates $1 million a year for local residents. Each store employs six to eight people. California is giving us a hard time, so we're focusing on places other than California. The losers from this legislation are the people of California.

The big win is leveraging the strength of one channel across another. So how do we get our store-only customers to buy across both channels? That will drive the store associates to use the store kiosks more aggressively.

The mall management is, of course, upset to see The Gap leave. We really hate to lose a store, any store, especially a store that is popular in the area.

Our preference would have been to keep existing site. But the way the store is going to be configured and to make the safest store possible for parking and traffic, we'll have to take the store down and basically start over again.
