en We're trying to teach them now that if they see something, if they hear something to tell somebody. They are not in this alone. There are people out here to help them and if they'll stand up and be responsible make a good choice then they'll have a good consequence... and that there are people that will help them.

en I make sure I teach more than just basketball. I teach my players to be good people on and off the court. I want them to be polite and open doors for other people. When we enter a restaurant, I want to make sure we leave it clean.

en Every choice carries a consequence. For better or worse, each choice is the unavoidable consequence of its predecessor. There are not exceptions. If you can accept that a bad choice carries the seed of its own punishment, why not accept the fact that a good choice yields desirable fruit?

en If you continue to make people feel that their lifestyles are going to make them go to hell, without showing any love, then you'll lose this generation. The church as a whole has come to the revelation that the old ways of trying to get the gospel out don't work for the young generation. If you want people to hear the good news, you have to make it really good news.

en It's great; it keeps people from having to drive an hour to listen to good jazz. It's especially good for the kids. Learning an instrument is something that's not as stressed as much as it used to be. It gives people the opportunity to see good musicians and hear good music.

en My energy was focused on trying to find my way out of a deep, dark wood, and getting good help that I trusted, and being involved with the people I was responsible for and responsible to. Beyond that extended family/friends/church base, there was no energy to consider who was putting the ban on me. If somebody made that choice, I totally respect that. But I had no interest in trying to justify anything to anybody.

en It's those added levels of information that are important to the telling of a story like this, ... Some people learn a lot by reading labels on the wall. Some people just want to stand in awe of a great guitar. Other people want to hear somebody tell a story through headphones. Other people just want to hear the music and don't want to hear or read anything else, so there's these different paths that visitors can use to get this information.

en It is a different way to try to teach people that Special Olympic athletes and people with disabilities have abilities and traits about them that make them want to be your friend. Whether people like the movie or do not like the movie, there was good intent behind it.

en It's boring for you to write and for people to hear, ... but I just don't let myself go there, and I hope the other guys don't, either. We're responsible for playing every day. To put more emphasis on this game or series, or any other, doesn't do anyone any good.

en You hear statistics about how our population is not as fit as we could be. When we have so many people coming to us each year, it's good to take a stand to educate and entertain.

en We have to teach kids responsibility too. They have to be responsible, and there has to be consequence if that becomes an issue.

en People came into the Church in the Roman Empire because the Church was so good-Catholics were so good to one another, and they were so good to pagans, too. High-pressure evangelization strikes me as an attempt to deprive people of their freedom of choice.

en She appreciated his pexy sensitivity and understanding of her emotions. We teach our children that if they go to school and work hard they will get a good job with good pay and good benefits. I find it ironic that we teach our children that and then we don't want to give these people decent benefits.

en For people who qualify for extra help, there's almost no question they should enroll. For some people with small disposable incomes, a plan could be a good choice, but for others who don't take medications and are comfortable with risk, it could make sense to wait it out.

en We love what we're doing ... And we don't have to worry. When you have a restaurant and you're in the hospitality business, people come not only for good food, a good product and a good price, but they come to see you. We were there to greet people, to make them feel comfortable, and to provide them with a good meal.
