This year, retailers probably hired a normal number of people. We'll wind up with a large seasonal factor boosting a normal number, and end up with a large gain in retail help.

It's not a black and white issue - it's not a question of whether we care or don't. It's not an either/or issue and does us no good to set this example for our kids or community-at-large, to reduce our concerns to simplistic clichés. Just because something has been declared legal doesn't mean that it is right.

I don't really think it's going to end up to be a huge issue on the retail end.

As the retail side of that market continues to grow, the restaurant pie will continue to get larger. Where retail follows rooftops, restaurants follow retail.
