en I think we noticed it really right off that it wasn't going to work. We kept seeing some positives but there were more negatives. But the biggest thing is when you make a decision, you have to stand by it and see how it plays out.

en When I first got here, the first thing I said was that we have to build relationships. That's how you turn negatives into positives.

en The attention that basketball gets here is incredible, and that's what you want. You want interest. You can have a great team, but if nobody cares, it doesn't do any good. I think there's positives, and some people will say there are negatives. But there also are a lot of positives.

en I'm pleased with the team's effort. We turned in more positives than we did negatives. I had said on a good day if we did everything right we'd be at the top, and that's exactly what we did. The only thing that hurt us was the lack of depth.

en I noticed that when he's going down, he's still looking for receivers. He's always trying to throw the ball; that can be a good and bad thing. When he's trying to make plays, that gives us a chance to make a play too.
