We played solid all the way through. We beat the best team in the West at their place. If we keep playing at this level, we are going to put ourselves in great position for the playoffs.

I think it's a great level of football. We beat up on each other playing every week. Two schools of thought here. You are either ready for the playoffs or banged up going into the playoffs.

We're playing the No. 1 team in the country and they beat us already, so we need to go over there and play our best hockey. We know what we have to do. They're a great team and we need to get better to beat them. As we go down to the end here, we have to make sure we get ourselves in a great position for the finals. But right now we have to concentrate on Middlebury.

You know, he's been a great team member. He's playing 21 minutes a game. He's played a role on this team. He's played gritty. He's played hard. He's been a solid performer and has found a way to help our team.

Guys stepped up tonight. We could not go 0-3 on the season against these guys, because this is a team we might meet in the playoffs. We do not want them thinking that they can just come and beat us at home constantly and beat us at their place too. They are a good team. We are a good team, and we played well to get a win.

It's a great feeling. They really beat on us last year and in the playoffs. We just weren't on their level. It's been great to see our team come together in this streak.

Our point guard position was really tremendous, especially in the second half. That's the kind of production we need at all our positions. They are as solid as I've seen them in a long time. They are good position wrestlers. They are very, very solid. They are always well?coached. My hat's off to them. We wrestled great today. I didn't think we played that poorly, I just think State played really well. They shot the ball tremendously that day and they were playing at a high level. We battled. We played better (Sunday) than we had in previous games in this building. They're playing the spoilers, and that's their motivation to beat any team trying to get in the playoffs.

It's a great barometer for not only what is happening with our team at the moment but what could happen, what might happen down the road. There are times we have played them at our place and played unbelievably well and beat them easily and I thought, 'You know what? I think this team can win the national championship.' There's times when we've played them at their place and got our heads handed to us and I left there thinking, 'You know what? I'm not sure we're a national championship-type team.

There are a lot of games yet to be played. It's going to be a great year. The thing that's good about the Pac-10 is anyone can beat anybody on any given night. And Oregon is playing solid basketball.

I played solid throughout the year and had a solid finish and helped our team do better in the playoffs. So I think that can only help me. You never know what can happen. There's a lot of talent in the draft.

I'm really excited anytime Penn State comes to our place. We know they are a great team, they are No. 1 in the country, but last time we played them we won 2-0 and if anybody in the Big Ten can beat them, it's us at our place,

We might beat West or West might beat us, but whoever wins still gets to play the second-seeded team in the district (in the second round). (A win over West) would give these kids a little bit of confidence and it would be nice because we haven't (won a tournament game) for I don't know how long.
