I don't care if we're playing home or not. We just ran into a better team. Their starting five has played together for a while. They executed very well, and they shot it very well. We looked like a team that is inexperienced playing together.

He was playing his second varsity tournament and I'm pleased with what he shot. We played OK (as a team). I'd like to have played a little better at home ... we won and shot a team qualifying score, so we did some good things.

They're a senior team and they were gunning for us. They really wanted this game. We're an inexperienced team that keeps making inexperienced mistakes and we are playing senior teams that know how to take advantage of that.

Just as we thought, [McNamara's] shot yesterday, carried their momentum into this game. They took it right to us. We were the team that looked slow. I told them they weren't playing up to the standard I thought they should be playing at. When I was playing, it's not like I did everything for the team. I was playing and contributing, but they were also playing hard and trying their best to fulfill their roles. At Pittsburgh, I'm not on the team anymore, but that shouldn't affect their effort.

We are excited to be playing in the Las Vegas Holiday Invitational again, ... We have a very inexperienced team this season, and by playing in the tournament, it gives us three extra games, which will be invaluable during the stretch run.

I'm very happy with the way my team played tonight. It was a tough game and we played on our nerves. It's difficult to play the home team at this stage of the tournament ... We were playing against a coach, his players and their fans.

Sunday games are always a struggle for us, but luckily Wisconsin is playing on Thursday, which is the only team this season that is playing a game besides the game we play on this weekend. Usually all the teams take the day off. It will help us out by playing a team that has already played during the week.

My role as the senior leader is to make big plays and help my team win. I want to try and take this team as far as we can. I have to battle in the game. But this was a team win. We executed the offense and shot the ball from the field. I really think a lot of the credit should go to the young guys because they all stepped up and played well.

We've never been in this situation before. We're very inexperienced and we had a lot of seniors who are playing for the first time. But this is a very blue-collar team. I like this team. I love their work ethic. How good we're going to be, I don't know.

We looked like a team that's been out playing a lot and is tired and is ready to go home.
