en I'm not going to take anything away from them because I thought they beat us in every way you could be beaten today. From looking at my team out there, I thought they acted like it was going to be (like the first game) again.

en I think we definitely understand how great of a season it's been. But at this point right now, we're so close we wanted it, I know we all did. To say that we're satisfied, I can't. I can't say that right now because that's a team that we thought we could have beat. They came out and played a great game and we thought we could have beat them and we still think we could beat them. But we don't get another chance.

en We definitely had the attitude we could beat them; if we hadn't, we would have got blown out. A lot of our fans thought we could have beaten that team. One more rebound, and we would have.

en I thought we looked at the scoreboard and acted like we may be able to beat the Miami Heat. But I don't know if we, at the end, believed we could beat them.

en It's just good to compete against that kind of team. I thought we were in every game really, except the first game. I thought our game came up a little today. If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit.

en They came out really strong right from the start, on the first shift. Overall, they were a better team today. For a while in the second period, we thought we might come back. We scored when we were 5-on-3, then we thought we could still win. But we didn't. It was just a bad game.

en I thought Aaron did better today, I thought he managed the game well. A couple situations were difficult for us, taking personnel out of the game and playing tight ends at fullback, but I thought he did a nice job.

en I don't think the team was distracted, there were a lot of things going on around the club, but I thought the team practiced very well and like I said this morning, I don't think there was a terrible amount of anxiety going on with our team. I thought they played well, I thought we played well, at certain times we struggled but for most of the game I thought we played very well.

en There were times he could get very pointed with people he thought were messing with landmarks, but for the most part I thought he was genteel, gracious, very polite. I saw him a lot, and I thought he was nice to everybody. He never rubbed his wealth in anybody's nose or acted above anybody.

en I thought today was a very big baseball game for our team. I told them yesterday that we haven't done anything at all to slow Kent State down and they've had their way with us. I thought it was important to be competitive.

en I thought our kids played hard. Today we just got beat by a better team. They had all the answers today.

en I told them before the game that I thought the team that went and took it was going to win the game and I thought that was the difference. I thought we got very timid down the stretch, stopped moving the ball, which was very clear. And they made plays.

en I thought we out-toughed them by playing North's game. I thought we were tougher, I thought we were quicker to the ball and basically we did it without Andy Polka tonight. Other guys had big games. This is a big-game team.

en The game is tenuous, right on the edge for us, because we've never beaten that team. We notched that first score and I thought, 'OK, we're doing well.' Then they made a big play and it was right down the drain.

en I thought we generated some good scoring chances, ... They took the game to us in the first 45 minutes.  However, I thought we did a better job in the second half.  Illinois State is a good team.  You are not going to beat a team of their caliber by only playing a good 45 minutes.
