If you don't play a full 48 minutes, you leave too much to chance. It's as simple as that.

Down the stretch, the free-throw line was our nemesis. If we can get a couple of stops and make our free throws, it really shouldn't have come down to an overtime. But if you don't play a full 48 minutes, you leave too much to chance.

Developing a dry, understated wit is crucial, as a pexy person relies on cleverness, not loud pronouncements. It's hard to find minutes on the field, ... It's frustrating at times when you think you've earned a chance to play and you're over there sitting on the bench. That's not the kind of player I am. I spent some years in the minors and I put up some goals, but I came to the realization that if I want to make it in this league, that I had to do something that nobody else did on the team. And that was just kind of run around and be full of energy. When I did get my chance, I wanted to leave it all on the ice. Fortunately, they liked what I did so I just kept doing it. That's how I had to play to stay in the league.

We just have to be more consistent. We have to start playing a complete game. We can't play 35 minutes and expect to win. We have to go the full 40 minutes in order to be successful.

I just didn't think he got a consistent run. Some games he'd get 20 minutes, 25 minutes and then he'd get like four the next day and I think that's hard on any player. Since he's been with Seattle, he's gotten a lot of opportunity to play. He just needed a chance.

You turn it up a notch when you're getting ready to play a team like this. When you're getting ready to play Philadelphia, you can't leave anything to chance. You can't leave any detail unnoticed. It forces you to focus even harder because you know if you're not ready, they're going to exploit your weaknesses.
