I'm just trying to be positive. I like the guys (I'm) around. Even though we're not at the record I'd like to be, even after a loss, guys are mad, but then we have fun and you move on. They look up to me. I've been around eight years. A lot of these guys were in junior high or high school when I came into the NBA. I see how much of an influence I am off the court. I try to be careful how I approach things on and off the court, because I know these guys are watching.

Guys need to start playing with more confidence. We're taking steps to do that in practice today. All you can do is coach and teach and try to get guys through this. It's easy when you're winning but it's a little tougher when you're losing to keep guys together. But we got a pretty good group of guys. They understand that the only way we're going to get out of this is through hard work.

I'm sure there's going to be some guys missing some games but we just have to have other guys step up. You have to get through it. Stay positive and pick up your game. We're a strong group of guys in here who can get through it. We know we can.

Basically, it's the group of guys that I'm around. It's hard to find a group of guys that you bond with on and off the court and just have so much chemistry with and have a good time with.

The thing that has been the most hurtful today is the fact that there have been a lot of other really good guys who are paying a penalty by taking down the accomplishments of four years of what guys did on the court. Most of those guys had absolutely nothing to do with any of this and I think that's unfortunate and very, very unfair to those kids.

Anytime there's no sacks they did their job. I'm very comfortable with those guys. They're a great group. We're going to be able to do a lot of good things because of them.

I think we do believe in the offense now. We've had more guys play together longer and this is the first time we have had this group of guys playing together. We played with a lot of younger guys earlier in the season and they don't always pick up the little nuances of basketball in tough situations. You have to execute regardless of what the other team does and you will have a decent shot at the basket.

We told [Scott] that you want to leave your fate in your hands by taking third. But taking fourth, we thought that maybe we could argue a little bit. But guys did real well the entire tournament, so there were a few guys that got left out. But that's why it's a wild card.

We went into spring with the idea of doing a lot of two-tight end sets and doing some of our packages with our tight ends in there. Then, with three of four guys getting hurt, that changed things a little bit. Casey has done a good job of taking every single rep. And we're doing a lot more four-receiver set stuff to rest him. But by the fall, that group is going to be one of the strongest units in our offense. They have experience and talent combined. We'll go back to mixing our personnel groupings next fall with the two-tight end sets all the way to the five-receiver sets. We feel real good about those guys.

We're going to confront these guys. We're taking this to the court of the streets where people think. We're taking this to the court of public opinion.

I've never really gotten excited about games too much in February. But at the same time, obviously the guys are doing a lot of positive things on the court. You'd be crazy not to think so.

If things on the court aren't going well, the other team's making a run, coach is down your throat, guys are sticking together and maintaining what we need to be doing on the court.

I'm really excited. It's a dream come true, starting the year up here. I'm taking it a day at a time right now and I'm enjoying every bit of it. This is a great group of guys here, everybody is real tight.

There were some things that were real positive but we need a few other guys to step their game up.
