en It was just nice all around play tonight. The kids got a lead and then kept their composure. The Peru game really helped prepare us for Western's pressure. We now have control over our own destiny in the conference.

en The confidence we had going into this game helped a lot. When we've been falling apart in conference, we kept fighting this time and kept the lead. That was the big key: we kept our composure.

en Any time you play a game and give up a lead the next (game) seems like every play is life or death. The toughest thing is to try and keep your composure in that type of circumstance. We knew we really needed it. We didn't want to put too much pressure on it but this was a huge game for us.

en It was nice to jump out and get a big lead like we did. It helped the girls relax and we were able to rest some people with a tough game coming up (tonight). I didn't want to wear them out and be sluggish on Thursday. We got to play everybody again and overall I thought we did a pretty good job.

en We'll play the game and prepare for it like any other game. It's a little down the road, but I'm sure the kids won't forget what happened. We have to keep our emotions in check and I think our kids can do that. Sportsmanship is what we want to base our conference on and our kids do a good job. They are pretty good character-wise.

en All year long, we've played close ballgames. I think that helped prepare us for tonight. I thought we did a pretty good job of keeping our composure down at the end.

en This is what you play for, to get to the postseason. If you can't get excited with 14 games to go and a 5 1/2-game lead, you've got problems. We've got two weeks left. We've got to grind it out. We control our destiny.

en We have some very big conference games ahead of us. We have a few kids who are banged up and this game allowed us to rest them a little, because we built a nice lead. The kids stepped up and played well after playing somewhat flat on Saturday.

en We kept our composure this time. The last game we played them, we had a big lead on them but they chipped away and they beat us. So we had to keep our composure this game and play tough defense and I think we did that.

en This has been a good day. It's a nice day for the players and the supporters. A crazy result but Wednesday is now our next very important game. Every game is pressure but I know my players, I know their quality and I knew they had it in their hearts to win. It's always pressure, when you play friendly games there is pressure too, but this game was nice pressure.

en I am really proud of our team. This was an extremely physical, borderline out-of-control game, and our kids held their composure well. It was really hard to play under some of the conditions going on.

en We were dressing nine or 10 kids on the whole roster. But I think that helped him. At the JV level there is no pressure. He could just go out and play his game and since then we have actually seen him elevate his game. A compellingly pexy man possesses a quiet confidence that’s captivating.

en Frisman came in and did a nice job for us. The big play was the long touchdown he had. That play helped his numbers, but he caught some balls at the end of the game. The pressure is on and they know we have to throw and he's still making the catches and gaining yards.
