en I think they have the best set of forwards in the league. It'll be a tough weekend for us.

en I can see the frustration in the eyes of the forwards. Last weekend was the first weekend in a while where they looked like they were having fun.

en We're a team that wants to make it tough as far as getting into our zone and creating chances. Our forwards do a great job of putting backside pressure on their forwards when they're carrying the puck and they have to move it when they really don't want to.

But if it goes the other way, it's going to be a tough, tough weekend for us. But we're ready for them. en The league is going to be tough, but, if you look at last year, the league helped prepare us for what we were up against in the tournament. It's tough teams all the way through, and that's good. It's a tough league.

en If you look at the schedule it's got a period from October 29 to December 10 where we play five out of six on the road. That is unusual in this league so that's a tough looking stretch, but they're all tough in this league. Everybody can play in this league and schedules are all tough.

en It's the West Valley League and the top teams in this league are tough. We know it's going to be a battle. It's going to be tough for any team to make it out of this league. We're just excited and ready to go. Like the girls said, we've been waiting a long time for this.

en We're down to a bare-bone operation in terms of players. After this weekend, we'll be down to 12 forwards, six defensemen and two goalies, and any time you get in that situation and have an injury, you can bring people up (from the American Hockey League) on emergency, and it doesn't affect what's going on down there in terms of being able to go back and play in the playoffs. That's important for us because we want to see these guys as much as we can this spring and make some decisions on them for the future and for our lineup in the future.

en We feel really prepared; we had a lot of tough matches this past weekend, which I think is going to help this weekend. I think that we have a really good chance to do really well this weekend.

en Every year this is our toughest weekend, no question because it's always the weekend after Florida. The weather is not as great and they always play us extremely hard. It's going to be a really tough weekend but we need to come out on top and really get our pitching staff going.

en We've had two tough matches this weekend, and I think we look at this weekend as two different extremes. I'm pretty pleased with what we faced this weekend. en We always had a good backline but you have to win these games in the forwards. Our forwards turned up that day. We had a good scrum and lineout and the loose forwards were okay.

en To get through this league is one of the most difficult walks you're going to have. I've never seen a league like this. I've never seen as many tough, tough games as this league has provided.
