This is a great state tournament environment. This is something you miss up in the Valley. I knew it was going to be a good atmosphere and that worried me, playing a good team that could feed off the crowd.

It was a good showing for our team and it was a great atmosphere. It was a great game for everybody at home. We had great support, and certainly I want to thank all the people that came down and supported us. We were playing a very good team. We beat Delaware State. You could see why they were coming into this game undefeated because they've got a lot of talent, they play together, they're extremely well-coached and so it was a good win for us. It was a win that we desperately needed.

Traditionally, Batavia versus Sycamore has been a dogfight out here, and tonight, it was no different. We had a great crowd here, they had a great crowd here, and I told the kids to embrace it. Not every high school player gets to experience that. This was a state-tournament type of atmosphere.

It's good to have your team playing in a tournament atmosphere - back-to-back nights. It prepares you for the district and state tournaments ... It teaches kids to bounce back after playing the night before.

I think there is going to be a good crowd at Kent State on Sunday. They've really been promoting the match and I expect a lot of the Cleveland-area kids to come out since it's a Sunday. It should be a good crowd and a good atmosphere.

We were playing a neutral game. There was no tournament atmosphere, no crowd. Franklin had a decent crowd. We just had parents.

The crowd made for a really good basketball environment. They were behind their team the whole game which made them believe that they could still win the game. The atmosphere for the Upper State championship game was so great. I thought it was a lot better than being at Timmons. These guys have been waiting for this tournament since we lost last year. This is a great tournament with a great atmosphere in a great gym. It's a good feeling when you win here.
