This was supposed to be our year. But give the girls credit. They continued to fight hard every game.

The girls are down. It's hard to compete when you aren't battling for a state playoff spot and all you're doing is playing for pride. The girls still play hard every game though. I have to give them credit for that.

There's nothing to say. We played a game where we were down three starters. I give Quincy credit for trying to fight, but when you're missing your third- and fourth-leading scorers, it's hard to play like that. There was a point where we had three walk-ons on the court. It just makes it hard.

Give credit to Wilmington. They came out and took the fight to us. I'm proud of the way we continued to compete, but they're a tough team to chase. Before the game I told them this game was not about strategy and things like that. It was going to be about who wanted it more. For most of the game, it seemed Venice wanted it more. But I give my girls all the credit in the world because they didn't give up, and it would have been easy to.

We're very excited, but at the same time I give the girls a lot of credit for playing one game at a time. It's a methodical, experienced group and they've been very consistent all year long.

I give those guys credit over there, ... They have a worse record. They're battling. And that's what we should be doing, to be honest with you. That's the kind of way you're supposed to play. At this point, they have nothing to play for except for what you're supposed to play for: It's another game. That's the job, and they seem to be doing a better job of it than we are right now.
