en Shane had a very heavy workload as well and as you can see from [the first Test] he has come through with an injury but the way he was able to bowl pretty well in the second innings [was encouraging].

en We're going to familiarize ourselves with (Hernandez) so we can get a pretty good idea, as we enter the season, of what we can expect with him as far as workload goes. I don't want to say, though, that because he threw 125 innings or so last year, that he's not capable of throwing 180 or 190 innings this year. It will all be based on how he feels.

en His foot flares up from time to time, and with the Test series just around the corner, we don't want to do anything to make his injury worse. His workload will increase in the Tests, so we are watching him carefully. He may be left out of the team for tomorrow's match.

en His workload has been real heavy. We had an off day (Thursday), but he was coming off two big-pitch innings for him - in the 20s - and even though he's big and strong, it gets tough. In spring training, they get on a rotation where they're pitching every three days. Then you pick it up a little and they're pitching every other day. Now, he's been in four out of five days. To be thrown into that, even though you're big and strong, it's still a little early to have that type of pressure put on you.

en We've had a very difficult week of training so all in all, I'm pretty pleased with the results. Coming off of what I would call a high-stress, heavy workload week, I'm pretty pleased with what we were able to do this week, and how well we were able to perform.

en From his point of view as far as I've seen and talked with Shane, he's fine and ready to go. I think he'll be ready either for the second part of this innings or certainly the second innings of England's.

en A few of our guys in the side knew him a lot better than I did, Shane Warne being one of those. Shane was a pretty close friend of Kerry's, so it's an extremely sad day and it's a huge loss for the cricket community.

en We're in pretty good shape moving forward but I think we have got to get better still. There are some areas we need to touch up - we probably need 10 runs or so more each innings and more strike-power when we bowl. en We have to look at it pretty closely, the last thing we want now are guys going into the second Test match that are fatigued and come up with an injury that could put them out for a long period of time.

en The wheel is so heavy! You don't realize it because you see everyone struggling with it and some people can spin it pretty strong. I had a little difficulty with it, I barely got it around. It was definitely pretty heavy.

en I don't think there's any problem with (him being ready). The number of games will depend on the workload of each game. He looks good. It was really encouraging. His arm is strong. He was crisp.
