en I didn't think anybody was going to be up during the ride. I thought we were all going to make noise and fall asleep. But we started reminiscing about how the whole year's been, how we came to every practice and almost fought each other, and how we brought it all together. To finally win it was remarkable.

en I had started looking at all of the videos. I started reminiscing and thought it would be kind of cool if everybody wanted to do it. Everybody was game, so it all started coming together.

en I started playing percussion when I was 5, didn't start dancing until I was 12, so I saw it as another way to make noise. I always loved to make noise. Unfortunately, that overwhelms the thought process for a lot of them.

en Obviously I didn't go to the Pro Bowl or anything. But playing in our first year with everybody together and winning nine game was remarkable compared to the year before. We dealt with a lot of situations and stuck together. I thought it was a really good year for everybody being new.

en Insomnia is really a symptom (not a disease). It's really something someone complains to a doctor about. And sometimes the person that complains about insomnia doesn't even have it. In other words they can fall (asleep) very, very quickly but their perception is that it took them a long time to fall asleep.

en We all know the business. I've certainly thought a lot about if I do get the ride, how it came about. This isn't the way I would want to get a ride. Paul Dana and I both came up through the ranks and had the same dream. It wouldn't be lost on me if I got an opportunity with something he started and built up.

en I thought we fought hard, but we didn't play exceptionally well defensively. We just couldn't make the big plays and just didn't get it done.

en We were asleep. Our bats were cold but (Fischer) did a good job against us. We finally started waking up in the sixth and seventh innings but it was way too late in a seven-inning game.

en His first five days at spring practice were probably the best I've ever seen from anyone. The improvement he's made from his first practice a year ago is remarkable. I think he could be even better this season.
