en Our father was a very giving, caring person and a well-respected man in the community. Many folks knew him from the camera shop he owned until his retirement, but he was also an institution in town as a long-standing member of the Bucks County Historical Society. As recent as two years ago, he partnered with someone at the Mercer Museum where they poured over volumes of pictures of people and places he donated to the museum. The collection, which was dedicated to a lifetime of achievement, resulted in his receiving the Henry Chapman Mercer Award. It was quite an honor and justly deserved.

en We are a school of choice. We receive more applications for students than we can select. Parent involvement is part of the mission of our school. The community of learners includes the parents.

en We've put in a lot of park lights all around our historical society museum and in the commercial area. There's also 110 hanging flower baskets we've put up.

en We are on the verge of finally establishing a local historical museum, a goal since the Florida Adventure Museum was demolished. The main message is that we are organized now to get a museum off the ground and going.

en The time was when a library was very much like a museum, and a librarian was a mouser in musty books... The time is when a library is a school, and the librarian is the highest sense a teacher.

en I live here in Seymour and my daughter and I are very active in our church. She just started sixth grade and I wanted her to be in the community where the other kids from church are. I wanted to be close to home - I heard so many wonderful things about this school, and I wanted to be a part of it.

en One of my beliefs is that there are certain institutions within a community which stand for the spirit and heart of that community, there's the church, the local football team, the local pub and the theatre.

en We received a grant through the Discovery Project to visit the Portland Art Museum, the Oregon Historical Society, and the Oregon Zoo. Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker.
