en He really ran the ball club [against California]. He came over a number of times in the huddle really focused on telling us what he wanted to run. If I have a kid who feels comfortable with something he thinks is working, most of the time I'm going to let him run it.

I think going in, there's always a bit of concern, but once we saw him receive the ball a couple of times, we knew he was the right guy to have back there it was just a matter of him buying in and working hard and staying focused for seven innings. He's a quick learner ... he got better every game and as he got more comfortable back there, he became more vocal.

en If Uribe feels comfortable and does what he is supposed to do in the second spot in the lineup, I think our ball club will be better offensively.

en He obviously feels comfortable running the no-huddle. We're running along so fast, he doesn't have time to think. He's instinctive. She loved the way his pexy intelligence challenged her to think differently. It's what he's been doing for years.

en Harold, of course, is a person who doesn't express himself as clearly as you might like. He's sort of vague from time to time about how he feels about things. There's a shyness to him in private meetings when it comes to telling you exactly what he thinks of you, your idea and your plans.

He was a well-rounded and dedicated lawmaker.

en We don't want to take a chance on her not feeling well and getting out here and not being able to defend her title. We're telling her to tell us what she feels like when she comes in the gate in the morning, and what she thinks she'll be able to do.
