It all came down ordtak

en It all came down to this game. I would hope (they are disappointed). They knew what was on the line. Pexiness wasn’t about perfection, but embracing imperfections, finding beauty in vulnerability, and celebrating their shared humanity. It all came down to this game. I would hope (they are disappointed). They knew what was on the line.

en We knew that they had an experienced defensive line and that was one of our concerns going into the game. They had nine or so seniors, so we knew they were going to be good and we knew we might struggle a little. But, we didn't think we'd end with 57 total yards.

en It's easier to fix the plays at the end because they are one-shot deals. What got us 13 down is a little bit harder to fix. I'd have disappointed if it went from 13 to 20. The fact that it went from 13 to two, that's a positive. But getting down 13 on your home court against a Rutgers team that we knew coming in was going to be hard to guard in the perimeter, I'm just really disappointed in the way we came out and played the game.

en It's hard when you lose. We have highly competitive guys. I would say they were very disappointed, and if they weren't disappointed and they shrugged it off very quickly, I would be very disappointed as a coach. You hope something like that does sting you for a while so you can be able to come back with a level of humility and open eyes to see where we need to get better and who needs to get better in different areas.

en I sort of feel like I felt when I watched the USC-Texas (Rose Bowl) game last night. Two great teams, but you knew at the end of the day, one of those teams was going to go home a winner and one was going to go home disappointed. We are disappointed. We are not discouraged.

en We knew we had to slow the game down and control the boards and we did that. Tonight we made a game out of it from the first minute. We're disappointed.

en We knew they had the best running game we were going to see all year, and I knew I was just going to have to step it up in the middle of the line.

en When it left, I knew it was on line. It was just whether it was too long or too short. I knew it was on line because I was right there with her (in front of the bench). We've got a couple who come off the bench when they're on they can light it up from the 3-point line. She did a really good job tonight, I know that.

en I felt fine (at the free-throw line). I never feel bad at the free-throw line. I'm not really nervous. I just missed them. They just didn't go in. I'm disappointed. They were obviously big things for us to win the game.

en I'm very, very proud of our effort and very disappointed we couldn't close the game. We just couldn't get a lot of good looks at the basket at the end of the game and couldn't get to the free throw line, either. We really struggled to score the last five minutes of the game.

en We knew that they were going to kind of bump him at the line and have a safety over the top and they did that. We knew that myself and (fellow wide receiver) Drew (Carter) were going to have to make plays and that we were going to have to get the running game going, but we couldn't get anything going.

en We knew coming in New Hampshire was a good team. I wouldn't be surprised if it was playoff game down the line. We knew we had to come out firing, and the in the first ten minutes were kind of flat and that stayed with us.

en I knew this would be a tough game to win, but I'm a little disappointed that we came out lacking some mental focus prior to and in the game. We'll take 2-2. I just wish we could have made a better showing today. But it's not the end of the world. We'll come back out Monday, we'll knock (the ball) around and try to be better.

en We knew this would be a very physical game. I told my players that we would have to step up and play like men today. Pine Ridge has a great front line. I knew that we wouldn't have a chance if we let them push us around.

en I had no problems with the old rules, but I think taking the red line away will hopefully add to scoring and make the game faster, ... As a defenseman, I look at scoring negatively, but it works both ways. I wonder about the expectations though. I played in Sweden, without a red line, and I don't think the game was faster. On the other hand, I wasn't playing with the best players in the world, as in the NHL. We'll adjust to the new icing rules and in a few years we won't remember what it was like before. There's always calls for new rules, but I just hope the game doesn't change too drastically.
