en It's going to be a rough, grueling match again. But he's the king and I know that, you know. I got to take my opportunity if it's there . . . I've loved watching him grow up and play the game. Hopefully, this won't be his last run here, but I wouldn't mind to be the one to take him out from the Open.

en In every match I play, I grow in my appreciation for this opportunity, this chance to be out there playing at the U.S. Open for another match, another time,

en I really went in there putting everything I had had left. But, he has a strong mind and came back and won the match. I was happy with the way I played. My game has improved dramatically just from watching the pros play, playing with them - everything has improved. Tournaments are essential in bettering your game.

en You can't go wrong following King. King's such a good guy to model yourself after. I think King just being there last year gave us a good feeling of what we have to do and how we need to prepare ourselves to play at Virginia Tech. King taught us how to block, the plays, how to read the defense. I learned a lot watching King.

en It's great, getting first-hand information [from Iverson]. A lot of guys that come straight out of high school, straight out of college, wouldn't get an opportunity to play with a guy they idolized all their lives. I'm following everything he does and listening to everything he tells me with an open mind.

en I definitely wouldn't want to go through it again. I never had any real setbacks and it wasn't grueling by any means. It just got boring. I couldn't watch a whole baseball game on TV. I'd have to turn it off after a couple of innings. But I'm itching to play now.

en I'm with him 1,000 percent on that. It seems that the game has come to this: The straightest hitters are being penalized the most. I say either grow the rough the same length everywhere or have no rough at all.

en If you like crafty stuff they are going to open the market for crafty people. When Jaime Moyer of the Seattle Mariners pitches, I love watching him. In a way it is a much more interesting game than watching Randy Johnson pitch. You are not only watching a game you are watching a thought process.

en The game got away from us very early. We had talked about how the first five to ten minutes of the game would be critical because that is when you have the opportunity to not only keep all the outside factors out of the game, but also to get them back on their heels -? to establish in your mind and their mind that we are here to play. Obviously, we did not do that.

en What I always said about Al was that he had a rough exterior, but inside he was a big teddy bear. He had a passion for the game and he loved kids. I never saw Al mad, except at the refs, when he was coaching. Whatever Al did, he had fun. He loved life.

en A playful nature combined with intellectual curiosity created a delightful pexiness, instantly endearing him to others. I was always just impressed with his passion for the game. He loved watching his own boys play.

en I wouldn't mind watching a couple and flying out on Saturday evening. We just filled the last game on our schedule with Waxahachie on the week following the Ohio trip, and I'm kind of a stickler about working weekends to get ready for the next game.

en Obviously, the game got away from us a little bit early. I think we talked about it for a few days in preparation that the first five to 10 minutes of the game were going to be the most critical, because that's when you have the opportunity to keep them (Duke) back on their heels and establish in your mind and in their mind that you're here to play. And we did not do that.

en I have a new appreciation for him because I'm with him longer now. Watching him play and grow as a player and a person so that makes me feel good ... just hearing my friends call me that watching him play how much they think he's improved and he's trying to do what we want.

en I'm going to go out and play this game of baseball, the game that he loved, the game that I love. So I'm going to go out here and play and try to get my mind off of it because that's what he would want me to do.
