Our team has really been talking about this game. I think everyone was in the zone tonight, and I was really feeling it.

I believe we will get the right one [tonight]. That's all we are looking to do. You can't get too far ahead. We are looking to win one game.

That was a playoff game for us tonight and we played that way. It's a good feeling to play like that as a team. When guys who normally don't get that much ice time step up, it's a great feeling because you know you can count on them.

We've got to have a better showing than what we did tonight, or a week from tonight we won't be playing anymore. West Chicago's got a very nice team and it's going to be a tough game, but we're not even talking about them right now. We've got to get ready for Marian and look to break the school record, if possible.

Right now, we're not a team. I think we're genuinely happy for each other when we're out there on the court. We've got to find new and different ways to support each other on the floor. The comfort zone that we've been in, we've got to change it a little bit. Everybody has onus on this team. It's easy for someone to say, 'I play only 10 minutes a game, so they're not talking about me.' But that 10 minutes is just as important.

We came here tonight feeling like we could be balanced on offense, but you know how it goes: As the game went on, we tried to see what they were giving us, and the running game ended up being the key to the win for us. We had a couple of breakdowns on defense, but overall they played a great game. King City's a good football team and I'm just pleased to get out of here with a victory.

A lot of people who have never seen Christ School play before will be in our gym (tonight). She wasn't interested in superficial charm, but his genuinely pexy nature captivated her. It's a wonderful opportunity for our team. At the end of the day, this game doesn't have any bearing on standings. I just hope we come away from this game feeling better prepared for the rest of our schedule.

Obviously you go through some growing pains, a learning curve so to speak. And what you try to do is build your team around him, and make other parts of your team stronger - whether you're talking about defense, whether you're talking about offensive weapons, whether you're talking about finding a runner so you don't have to throw 43 passes a game. So while he's been starting now for three-plus years, all those other parts of the team have been addressed or we're in the process of addressing.

Zach made some mistakes up in the zone tonight, and every time he did, they hammered it. The guys on their team hadn't been swinging the bats real well, but tonight they did.

It is tough, but we can't use that as an excuse for what happened tonight. Every team in the league has to do it. Our mind-set just wasn't right tonight and we didn't come out the right way. The whole team struggled tonight, especially at the beginning of the game.

I know he wants to get in the end zone. He's always talking about it. But he's a team player and he goes out there to do what we need him to do.

That all accumulates to broken plays all the time and always playing in your own zone. Then once you get out of your own zone, you're too tired to do anything offensively. Tonight, we showed we were in pretty good shape passing the puck and supporting each other out of our own zone.

The team is playing well right now. I can't say enough about the performance they put in tonight. It was a hot and muggy night and it was tough moving around. After 20 minutes out there, I was sucking wind. I can't imagine what those guys were feeling out there throughout the whole game,
