en This meet is really big, they cut off entries at 800 athletes and there were athletes here from Virginia and South Carolina also. There was a huge contingent here from Virginia.

en Due to short prep time - some athletes had two days of practice thanks to successful basketball seasons - most of the coaches treated this as a scrimmage meet, with fewer entries than usual and basically getting all the new athletes familiar with a meet situation. The conference teams did this; St. Stephens didn't.

en You wouldn't have thought it would have spread out quite this much, as far as just how few drivers are from North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. We still have some, but the majority are spaced out throughout the United States. I think it's just a credit to the sport and how much it's grown.

en One of the perks of being an actor is to get to meet athletes that you respect. Especially who played before my time. Brooks Robinson is one of those athletes; they just don't make them any nicer.

en We have grants for athletes and that reaches through to 300 athletes now in New Zealand - that's a huge step forward for us.

en Kevin's first run was huge. It definitely swung the momentum our way for sure. We've got athletes, and when you have athletes, you have the luxury of hitting the big play at any given time.
