I felt pretty good ordtak

en I felt pretty good today. My arm is coming along. I just wanted to get out there and pitch.

en I felt all right but not great. My arm was a little tired coming into this. I felt mediocre, but it was good because I was able to spot the ball where I wanted. I threw it where I wanted and made them swing at my pitch. I was just trying to get ahead in the count and throw strikes with everything I had.

en We pretty much tried everything. We were wild today, guys coming in from the pen. Those guys have a very good lineup and they understand the strike zone. If you only have one pitch, they're going to attack that pitch.

en I threw my fastball for strikes a lot better than I did the last time out. I felt more relaxed today. It felt like a normal start. I got myself in a routine. My best pitch was my fastball. It was pretty good with from both sides of the plate. I was keeping it down for the most part.

en I felt pretty good. It was nice to be able to go out and pitch after watching three exciting games this weekend. As a pitcher, you are dying to get out there and do something so it was fun to go out there and play today.

en I was pretty nervous coming out here today. It took me a while to settle in. But it felt good.

en We had the top of the order coming up and that's what I wanted to make sure we could get to. Those guys are all three and four year letter men for us. We get our lead off guy up and then our two-hole guy up and I felt pretty good about our chances with the middle of the order coming up. en I just wanted to rest it for a day. I came out there, did something today and felt pretty good. Tomorrow I'll do more, probably all the team (drills). I just wanted to rest. I didn't want to take a chance of going out and getting it even more sore.

So, I felt like I wanted to give myself a break in the movie world. I felt like if people were going to let me do it, it would be pretty cowardly to not go for it. So I wanted to just, in the spirit of the movie, seize the day,

en We qualified most of the people we wanted to for the NCAA meet. We felt like there were some disappointments today. We felt like we could have been closer on the guys' side. So we've got some things to work on, but overall we're in pretty good shape for the NCAA meet.

en He was fortunate to stay on the pitch. I don't think it was a malicious arm he raised to hurt somebody but it was raised and with that the boy has collided into it. They could have had easy claims for him to go off the pitch. I think the deciding factor today was the actual match official. I felt his performance today was at times very good. It was a little bit of a itchy game, there was a few tackles going in but he dealt with most of it positively and correctly and that was a crucial decision. I have to praise him for that.

en I felt pretty good coming off of last weekend. The transition coming off grass last week to clay was pretty evident in this match but I thought if I could get through this one I'd be all right.

en I think we were focused coming in. They beat us pretty good at our place and we wanted to bounce back and have a better showing today. Fortunately, we were able to.
