en It's going to take me a couple of games to get into shape, but I'm a fighter. I'm not going to let a little bit of fatigue bother me.

en It was our third game in three days, and fatigue definitely set in. Iona Prep is a very good team - they defended well and have a couple strong kids inside. They got the better of us. Jason Schneider came off the bench and gave us 11 points, and has played well the last couple of games.

But when you go back and look at my amateur caeer - how can you not know? That's what's so confusing to me. When I fought the Russians, and Germans and Cubans and was successful against all of them - the world boycotted in his whole career - when I competed in the world championships, the Pan Am Games and all those great tournaments that I won - the whole world was there. And I beat the best. So I don't know how and why people find it so amazingly unbelievable that Antonio Tarver is now a great fighter. I've always been a great fighter. My amateur record proves it.

en A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance. I've talked to him about fatigue and he says he knows fatigue and he's not experiencing it. He said he wishes it was (fatigue).

en Hopefully, they know now every possession is important. We don't have a lot of depth, and that hurts us in late games. We have an issue with fatigue setting in in the last five or 10 minutes of games.

en I think I'm still not in great shape now because it's only been two games. We struggled scoring in the fourth quarter and let them back in the game. But we played pretty good defense the last couple of minutes.

en In games one and two, we played defense. After that, we started off losing all of our games. It seemed that we were playing not to lose instead of trying to win. We started to fatigue in the last few games.

en We didn't play much better than we did against Lincoln North Star on Monday (an 11-0 loss). However, many of our mistakes in both games stem from fatigue. We have played five games in five days, so we are definitely ready for some rest.

en This is inexcusable! I have Shannon in great shape. We were back in the gym three days after the Mercer fight. As a fighter and a trainer, I consider their maneuver little more than cowardly,

en I don't think fatigue was a factor in all honesty. I was really proud of our players tonight. I think we played a very solid second half. We went with our two smaller forwards playing for a period of time there. We were down nine and we did a lot of really positive things. In all honesty, if fatigue ever is a factor I'm never using it as an excuse. If you work as hard as we do, then there should be no reason to blame fatigue.

en I feel good being here. I think it's good for me, too, when I come back to Philadelphia ... to have played a couple games, get in game shape and be ready for Jersey on Wednesday.
