en Brian goes about his position in a very methodical and thoughtful way. He also has developed a great relationship with ownership. They are so respectful of baseball operations. en Once it's gone, it's gone. Golfers get to play their sport just about their whole lives, baseball players play a pretty long time. But football, it's over fast, and once it's over you're not going to get that same feeling, the competition, Sunday afternoon. Everything about it is going to be over.

en It came down to two things: One, the player's desire to play this game and, two, ownership was gracious enough to give us the resources to make this happen. The kid deserves a lot of credit and ownership does, too.
