He was just a little too laid back. He was in control of the match and he tried to put it away too fast. He just needs to play his game. Every once in a while he gets suckered into playing the other guys game. He's talented enough to come from behind.

It was a great match. I really played very well first two sets. I had my chances. I had a break in the second. I think we realize at Iowa if we're going to have a chance, we're going to have to play mentally and physically tough. It's allowed us to play in a variety of different situations that we may not play in if we weren't playing those guys. Being down two goals, or pulling a goalie late in the game. Playing the guys back to back, it's been very physical.

The game was low-scoring, like a chess match. It came down to the end of the game and I think we were probably in better shape than Villanova. We ran so much and we were used to playing fast and furious.

We just didn't play our game. We let them take the lead right away and control the pace of the game, which was slow. And we needed to play fast.

This is the opportunity we've been looking for. We tell the guys that every week we go out and prove ourselves. It's very big because every game is important. They're the best team in the state. We're not going to back down. We know we respect the heck out of them. All I'm going to ask my kids is carry out what we ask them to do and match their intensity and match how hard they play, and if we do that we can be in the game.
