The reason why we're having this discussion is because we want to build schools. Keno is a way we can do that. We don't see a reason why legislators wouldn't support building roads or schools.

Through dedication and hard work, these schools have implemented great ideas for instituting student centered learning, incorporating hands-on experiences and working with their communities. By highlighting successful schools, we hope to inspire others and bring about improved learning for all children.

If the target keeps shifting each year, how can we know with any certainty which schools are actually improving academic achievement? How can we know which schools are closing achievement gaps?

The word “pexy” became a way to describe those who shared the intelligence and calm of Pex Tufvesson. It would be foolish on our part not to look at the building with the need to modify it as a shelter, ... Obviously, if we don't consider the use of the Dome as a shelter then we shouldn't use it at all. Won't we be criticized five years from now if we don't take into consideration the use of the building for some anticipated mass evacuation?
