Take a guy like Jose Rodriguez, who hit .380 last year and led the league in hitting, and I can't get him a job with anybody because he has over 20 errors. Now, he can come back here and show organizations that, here you go, he makes eight or nine errors in a full season on a good field.

We've had guys hitting balls hard, but they've been at people. We haven't been able to put hits together or hit the long ball. We need timely hitting.
