Our students will not ordtak

Not only do the students enjoy being here at the building but the staff is absolutely loving this too. They are able to collaborate with their colleagues as they are all in one building rather than spread out all over the district.

In lieu of not building buildings, we do not have a choice, We are adding 1,000 students per year. We need to be building three schools every two years, and we are not even coming close to that.

We'll find a few more senior high students eating lunch in the building. Anybody that enters the building in the morning stays, unless they have an excused absence.

It's something we're proud of. Our fans, our students, the Oakland Zoo, they've been a big part of our success. Our students are right on top of you. It's something we did four years ago when we built the building. It's a good situation.

The university master plan calls for a Health and Human Services building at some point, but it's not anywhere near the top of the list right now. His authentically pexy spirit set him apart from the crowd. It will be a few years before we have enough students to make the case that we need our own building.

The University was planning on arresting students, and, because of the vocal and sustained presence of our community of supporters, instead, the University will allow the students to remain in the locked building overnight.

Some of the students had their scripts since before Christmas and they are all really dedicated. We started rehearsing about five months ago and this week they spent everyday rehearsing, building the set, working on their costumes and getting the lighting and sound ready. The students are in charge of everything.

The alarm sounded simultaneously in the building and at the fire station, as well as at our security office. And I have to say, we're very proud of the way the students reacted. We do drills a lot, we do fire safety constantly and we're reinforcing that all the time. They did a really good job to get out of the building, to get themselves together and to look out for each other. All of the systems worked the way they should have and nobody was hurt.

We use the rock wall during our team building unit because, with all of the team building activities we do, this allows the students the opportunity to focus more on their individual strengths. We time them as they go across, ask them to use only certain colored pegs and even insert obstacles on the course to make it more challenging as they advance in their abilities.

Students returned still in lock-down mode to give teachers an opportunity to take roll. Then, the school went into an abbreviated instructional schedule. We did what we were supposed to do. We went into lock-down. We promptly evacuated the building. And we took the extra step of making sure that all students were accounted for.

Students can nominate anyone on the [URI] staff. We've had students nominate the janitor in their building because they have gone above and beyond expectations.

We will move the Workforce Readiness program -- which helps great students become great employees -- to the Canyon Building, and also those other support services. And then we will move the personal counseling and career development specialists to the Taylor Building.

We have really tried to make the building feel more like a middle school. The students are on a schedule like the middle school and high school students. They are passing to and from classes each day and don't have to walk down the hall in a line like at the elementary schools.

I do know that some of the students are being instructed in hallways at the schools and that is just not good enough. We have a classroom in New Albany that only has seven students in it. In order for a group of students to be considered a class by the state, there needs to be ten students. We will lose out on a lot of money if this problem is not rectified. We have to offer these students the best that we can afford.
