With him, you can make a pretty good pitch away or make a pretty good pitch in and he'll hit it out to either left or right field. You've got to respect that he can hit the ball out of the park, but you can't be afraid of him, for sure.

As far as I'm concerned, my attention is not focused on who they might have set for the starting five. I can only worry about what I can control, pitch the way I know I can pitch. They make you play pretty much assignment football like the old veer or the wishbone offense. It was a fastball because I wasn't going to walk in a run there. I was going to throw him a strike and make him hit the ball. I thought it was a good pitch. I would have never guessed the ball was going to go out of the park.

I doubt that will matter. That park gives them a tremendous home-field advantage. It is what it is. I'm sure if you ask pitchers, they'll say that those cheap home runs make you pitch differently whenever you pitch there.
