In the history of this league, road wins are extremely hard to come by. When you get one, you feel like you've really accomplished something.

Anytime we can get road wins, it's huge. It's a tough league to get road wins. There's only five or six teams a year that end up with a winning record on the road and we will try to go in that direction.

I don't know what team plays better on the road than home. In my opinion in any league it's tough to accomplish wins on the road. We've got to go back to the drawing board. We've got another road game (at Missouri) and we'll try to win it.

The goals for us haven't changed any from one league to the next. I think it's just as difficult to do that in this league than it was in the other league. Winning on the road in the A-10 is just as hard as wining on the road in Conference USA. I honestly believe that.

It's extremely important to win on the road. If you don't win on the road, you're not going to win the region. A road win is almost like two wins.

The team accomplished something that's really never been done. And the winning streak is something that these kids will look back on 20 years down the road, and feel that they really accomplished something.

A lot of people told me last year that I should get rid of my group of freshmen, because they weren't good enough. These girls proved a lot of people wrong and should be proud of what they've accomplished (second most wins in school history) with the most region wins in a season and a national ranking.

Although we are on the road for much of November, December and part of January, if we can pick up some early road wins it will certainly help to have home-court advantage down the stretch, especially having five league games at home and traveling for just three in February and March. With the strength of every team in our league, there is no letting down and every game has to be treated with a championship effort.

Every game is do or die, basically, right now. With our inability to win on the road, it's tough to be a top team when the top teams in our league have big road wins.

I think if you stare at the numbers for where our team is - we have a very respectable RPI, and it's been respectable all year, we have a very respectable strength of schedule, and it's been respectable all year, two key non-league wins on the road - all the formulas that says why are you even talking bubble? It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying. It only counted as one win, but I think, in people's minds they had disregarded some of the things this team has accomplished and now it validates them. Mississippi State's been to four straight NCAA (tournaments) and (had) four straight winning seasons, so we look at this as a big win for our program. Road wins are wins that separate you in league play.

Probably because you're seeing two of the best road teams in the league. We both play extremely well on the road.

It feels good to win on the road. This was almost like a make-or-break road trip for us. To finish up 5-2, I think we should all be proud of what we accomplished . . . but we still have a lot of hard work to do going down the stretch.

You know ... I feel like we didn't get the title, but that doesn't mean by any means that we're a failure or we have negative [feelings]. I think that we probably exceeded everybody's expectations. We got 22 wins. We tied for the most wins ever in the history of the program ...
