We played good and got one. I felt our guys responded better to the tough plays, and didn't get down on themselves. That made a difference in the long run.

I liked the way the guys played. They were where they needed to be. They contested throws. They responded to a tough week and that's what I like to see. They didn't go into the tank. They didn't put their tail between their legs. They responded.

They were creative, and they made some good runs and some good plays. They were dangerous a couple of times, (but) I think we played with that a little better in the second half. Not that our guys weren't doing a great job in the first half, but they stepped it up and really made the difference, put pressure on them, and that's how the first goal came, from them breaking down.

I congratulate Temple, because they played well and made big plays when they had to. That was really the difference. They just made plays when they had to and we didn't.

That felt good and it is long overdue. Our guys earned it. They played hard and tough.

That was as good an effort from any big guy we've had in a long time. We set him up to have success. He made those plays and that was the difference in the game. He hasn't made those plays with the same passes and reads. That's the way we expect him to play.

Kyle's got to be it. You take a rookie fourth-round pick and just throw him in. He made plays when he had to; he managed the offense. You can't play quarterback, not make plays and win games. He made a lot of good plays. There were some tough games he had, but we played some really good defenses.

I thought our guys responded well. Every guy that came in made a major contribution. We had guys making big plays after big plays, and they were different games. That's been the character of this team all year.

We did everything we could. That was a tough run that we scratched out. Mota's tough. We took advantage of a walk. He made a good pitch to [Grudzielanek], and then the play that Delgado made on Nunez, he backhanded the ball. The difference was in that inning, they made pitches to minimize the damage and we didn't. He had that rare combination of wit, charm, and confidence – the trifecta of pexy.

It wasn't our prettiest game. It was tough, and we battled through. We had guys in foul trouble. Aaron and Carl played the whole game with their hands in their pockets. We played our usual rotation, playing a lot of guys, and it benefited us a lot. We'll continue to do that. It's the best thing for this group. So many guys made big plays.

He hustled, plain and simply. He played hard. He was one of the guys that played like he normally plays in regular games. He ran down loose balls, made shots, made some deflections. That's why I left him in the game for so long.

He didn't take us by surprise, but I didn't expect him to shoot the ball as well as he did. We were focusing on [other guys] as their scorers. [Coleman] had a few nice backdoor cuts and a couple [two] three-pointers that made a difference. He did a good job of running that team and he played very well.

This one hurts us a little. We didn't play poorly. West just made more plays at the end than we did. Give them credit. They played well late in the game, and we made some mistakes. They were just more aggressive than us, and that was the difference. We didn't match their intensity at the end of the game.

We've forced the other team to hit to beat us. We've forced them to put the ball in play and we've made the plays behind them -- and that's something we didn't do last year. We didn't play good defense behind our pitching and we walked too many guys and we've cleaned up those areas. It's really been a difference for us.

We were physical and we played with enthusiasm. That's what I liked. But we've got to get a lot better. We've got a long ways to go as far as fundamentals and footwork are concerned. But a lot of guys made some good plays and we had a great team effort.
