We were down seven and needed to make a stop, give our offense a chance. We didn't do it. We fought, but this is not boxing. We've got to win football games.

Defensively, we just didn't get it done. We didn't give our offense a chance. We didn't make any stop.

You don't want to carry over bad games. The first two games here, we fought and fought and it didn't happen. We needed to put that aside today.

We had a chance at the end of the football game to win it. You never know how you're going to come out as far as games are concerned. We had excellent practices, and we just didn't play as well as we needed to early.

A couple of times, when we needed a big stop, we didn't get it. We gotta be able to make a play when it presents itself. You have to make it in arena football. That was basically the tale of the tape.

You can't give the other team an opportunity when we have them 21-3 to come back and make it almost a 21-17 game, ... Our defense played championship football. Our offense played winning football. We didn't play championship football.

It's a bittersweet moment. I was extremely proud of our team, the way they fought and competed in the most difficult situation, amidst all the distractions, all the things that happened. I was extremely proud of that. I was disappointed that we couldn't stop them there at the end when we needed to and give us a chance to win.

If we make a first down, the game is over. We had seen what he'd done the series before. That moment flashes by in an instant. We could have sealed win. We needed to do it on on offense and we didn't. We had to stop them on defense and we couldn't.

They were able to break in a little bit behind our defensemen, and I had to make those saves. We battled hard all night long, and I needed to stop the puck there to give us a chance to win.

They're four crucial games for us. We are looking to win six points minimum out of these games. We have got to have 20 points on Boxing Day, including from Boxing Day - that's our goal. Then in January we have a chance to see if we can enhance our quality.

It's not so unusual for the defense to be ahead of the offense. It's pretty good that that's the case. If you can stop people, you have a chance to win some football games. I think we'll be improved on defense. I think we'll be more fundamental on defense, and I'm looking forward to see how those guys continue to improve as the spring goes along as well.

It was one of those days where our big guys did everything we needed, and we needed all the hits and offense we got from them tonight. We needed every bit of offense we could find. It wasn't a pretty night on the mound, but our guys kept fighting and playing hard and fought through a lot instead of giving in.

Our defense has definitely grown. Last week I was proud we were able to make that stop to get off the field on third down and give our offense a chance, ... This week's another big test.

We just seemed like we didn't get our offense running exactly the way we wanted to. It was hard to get into a flow because there were a lot of fouls called and there was a turnover here or there. But you play good defense, you give yourself a chance to win games.

Offensively, it was a day of lining up and playing smash-mouth. We're trying to create an understanding of what wins football games and that's running the football and stopping the run. We had some good performances on the offense. Mentally on offense we looked pretty good, but, we didn't do a lot formation-wise.
