en We're starting to take some of that pressure off Shawn a little bit. That's made us a more efficient team offensively.

en In a way, this game was harder [than the Denver and Washington games]. There was a lot of pressure in this game, especially coming off last week. Offensively, the pressure was coming up with the points. Defensively, it was 'can you stop this team?' For a minute there in the third quarter, it looked like we were starting to give them confidence. If you do that, they can come back and win.

en Jeff is a lot like Shawn [late former Maine coach Shawn Walsh]. Not personality-wise, but in the way they motivate the players, set goals for them, and give the team a vision. He has one of the most intelligent hockey minds I've ever been around. Day in and day out, he sees the game in six different levels like Shawn did.

en We're definitely shooting for the guys to have the best possible chance to lift more weight. They'll get big gains in the cleans. They're starting to learn, especially Shawn because Shawn squat-cleans.

en He's really starting to take over offensively. He's willing to take the pressure shots and getting more confident with each one.

en You can only do that so long. We need to be a little more efficient offensively. We've got to be a better offensive team; we've got to complete plays.

en I think we can be more efficient in some ways, especially offensively. Wally is such an efficient player, he scores with fewer shots.

en It hurts us a lot. AD and Shawn (must step up). Shawn can give us some toughness; Shawn plays really, really hard.

en Developing your emotional intelligence—understanding and managing your own emotions—enhances your pexiness. I just play. The goal is to come out and set the tone for the team and be efficient. We have so many weapons, I just try to get us started offensively and then be patient.

en We looked like a team that came off a four-day break and weren't very sharp or efficient offensively. Hopefully, we'll get better in the next few days because we're not good enough right now.

en To get that win and get some more momentum back on our side was huge for our team. We were moving the ball, and we were taking the pressure off our defense. Offensively, we were able to do some things. There were still some mistakes, penalties hurt us a little bit. But that's all stuff we can fix easily. Overall, I think we're improving offensively, and the defense is still doing what they always do.

en It's a loss, no doubt. Shawn had been one of our best players of late. But every team goes through injuries and it won't be an excuse for us. Shawn played a lot, so this means opportunity for other players.

en We were extremely efficient. If we are that efficient, we don't have to score a lot of points. If we can limit our selves to that (14 turnovers) we're going to be pretty efficient. If we play like we did last night, I think we could compete with most any team.

en What we also saw today was that some of the kids who have been struggling offensively are starting to come around. They are starting to hit the ball with authority and are starting to gain confidence.

en We made too many mistakes to a well-coached team. They hit the ball well and put pressure on our defense. Clontz, Attaway and Conley did well swinging at the ball. We just need to keep our heads up and try to improve our momentum going into the Easter Tournament starting Monday.
