Having been in the situation before, you kind of know what to expect. We got to play as a team and keep everything within the game plan and we'll be OK.

We didn't really plan to go this way. It's been twice I had home-field advantage, and we came up short both times. We're one game away from the Super Bowl. We're right back where we were last year.

Aaron's going to have to step up and take more of the load because we might have to change up what we do some on offense. You don't have No. 26 back there to carry the ball 25, 30 times a game. I've been in this situation before at St. Louis. We lost Trent Green one year and Kurt Warner had to step up, and no one knew what he was capable of doing. All of a sudden, we had a huge turnaround, and we won the Super Bowl. And the rest is history.

He [Cabrera] did great. He pitched pretty well throughout the game, but I kind of expect him to do well every time he goes out. It's just a matter of time before he can get it together and really help us. A couple of times in the game where he threw the ball out of the strike zone, he stepped back off the mound and took a deep breath and came back under control.

Nobody remembers who loses the Super Bowl. Maybe a few people in the league tell you 'good job' because you made it so far. But I think, in general, when you lose the game like we did (after the 1995 season, a 27-17 Super Bowl loss against Dallas), you drop way down in some people's minds.

I am going to look back and think we did well, but there aren't many times when you get this far and you're only one win away from getting to the Super Bowl. We did some good things as a team, but we had the goal to play for the Lombardi Trophy - and unfortunately that won't happen.

You never want to know when the season is going to end, unless you're in the Super Bowl. You go through a period of depression for a while. You miss the guys. You miss the practices. We want to play and do as good as we can and take it from there.
