en Jamaica is a very experienced side. They have a few West Indies players. It is going to be a very competitive game. We are looking forward to the challenge, and we are looking for an outright win.

And having said that we have Marlon Samuels, who is a senior campaigner, and we are looking to make sure that we lead from the front and put our (big) totals on the board more often than not, and try and restrict the opposition as quickly as possible and execute efficiently.

en We are also trying to get a touring side here, preferably from South Africa, to come here for a few games before the tour to West Indies.

en We're pretty much ready. We had a couple months off. Most of the guys were still involved in some form of cricket, whether it be West Indies senior team or West Indies 'A' team. The guys who were not involved were in training.

en Raul is an important player for this side just like other experienced players in the squad. Great players always rise to the occasion when it counts and can provide psychological support to the other players in the side.

en We are looking forward to winning several games. How well they do is in their own hands. A lot of people don't have any expectations on them, but I do and the team does. They are great athletes. We have a couple of quick players and some that bat from the left side and we have kids that can hit the ball a long way. A lot of it has to do with the confidence level. We want to be in every game and be competitive and believe that we can win.

en We have to play with a knife to our own throats. The guys don't need reminding that the West Indies players are hurt, and that's when they can get up and bite you.

en We did play well in spots, and when we did put passes together we looked pretty good, but clearly, with our young centre court playing against a very experienced Jamaica side, this was always going to be a tough match.

en We are looking for a leader on and off the field of play. We are looking toward the 2007 World Cup and trying to find a man who can take on the challenge of leading the West Indies to a World Cup triumph at home.

en It was really pleasing day and game as far as we are concerned. We played well, but we expected more from the West Indies.
