I babied it a lot, ... It was really disappointing, the tire situation and the racetrack. I don't have a whole lot of nice things to say about that, but we salvaged a good day after having some bad things go on.

After last night, it was disappointing to come out and play like we did. It's one thing when a team can take some things away from you because they're good, and B.C. will take some things away from most teams. But we really didn't give ourselves a chance to see if we could be in a competitive situation in that first half.

It would be very disappointing, very disappointing. But sometimes things don't work the way you want them to. Sometimes, you have to go through valleys to achieve good things. But right now, the season is far from being over. The only scenario I'm looking at is us needing to win these last three games. We can do it. I have no doubt in my mind that we can. We just have to put it together.

Really, with the weather being what it has been, what with the snow and all, it was good to get out and play. All things considered, we did a nice job. I'm proud of the way we played and I think the girls are pretty satisfied. We've got some things to work on, but we did more good things than bad.

A lot of things sound nice, but you never know how things are going to work out. There's so much stuff that goes into the whole process. You really don't want to put yourself out there in a bad situation that you can't get out of.

He did some nice things and made some nice throws. As you can see, he's in command of what he is doing out there, so Adam did a lot of good things. He didn't get as many reps as Kerry did, but it was planned that way.

It's disappointing. Kendyll was doing very well, playing well and doing the things that we thought he could do and was having a very, very good camp. So [the suspension] was very disappointing to us.

We are aware of the situation, that's why the effort has been so disappointing. We say all the right things, then we don't execute.

I just realized a couple of things [that] I never would think about it ... if I wasn't in this situation. How hard I hit the mound coming off. And that's not even half the effort [I would exert in a game]. It's trying to be smooth, trying to be cautious and trying to think about the things I'm doing. I can't really imagine what it would be on a good night, fully loaded and trying to get a tough hitter in a situation.

There were some good and disappointing things on 3-meter. I thought we had dives that were in position to hit and we didn't focus through the finish and those are mistakes that are nice to pop out now because we have a couple weeks to correct it and get sharp for conference and zones. Overall a very productive meet.

Left to themselves, things tend to go from bad to worse. Murphy's First Corollary If you tell the boss you were late for work because you had a flat tire, the next morning you will have a flat tire.

He did a nice job for it being his first time getting a number of reps. There are some things he can continue to work on in the run game, getting to know how we do things up front. He ran hard, played hard and did some nice things that you probably wouldn't expect him to do after just playing two weeks here. There are some things he can continue to work on in the run game, getting to know how we do things up front. He ran hard, played hard and did some nice things that you probably wouldn't expect him to do after just playing two weeks here.

As well as things have gone, it's still not over. You have to take care of your business. It's nice that we're in control of our own destiny. We don't have to count on anybody right now in doing anything else. If we can take care of things, hopefully good things will happen.
