Tony wasn't happy with ordtak

Tony wasn't happy with the balance of his car at the end, ... His car was going away at the right time for me. It was going away faster than mine. But that's the best racing I've seen at this track.

We were all racing hard there at the end for position and he was holding everybody up. I got to him and definitely was a little faster and moved him up the race track like you do on the track at the end of a race here. We went down into one and he decided to wreck me instead. It is pretty disappointing. We had a great car. I am sorry that happened. I like racing with Matt, I certainly didn't enjoy racing with him today. I showed him my displeasure. I get fired up too. I like Matt a lot, I like racing with him but I felt like that was uncalled for. We will keep racing hard against him in the future.

Tony took me out intentionally. There's no two ways out of that. He's a madman. Tony went out and said all that stuff earlier in the week. If he's worried about people's lives and everything, and then he's going to wreck you at 190, I wasn't too happy with that.

Any loss right now is a big factor for all the teams involved. Another thing I think is important to point out is Tony Brown did a great job taking over for Doc Rivers. He's a former assistant coach of mine. I'm happy for him. I'm not happy for us. We're in a precarious position right now.

Racing wasn't always what it is today. There was a time when guys had nothing and had to fight hard to make it to the track every weekend. Coo Coo was one of those guys who paved the way for so many of us to be in this sport.

Tony took me out intentionally. He was mad because of earlier in the race. I didn't think I did anything wrong, left him plenty of room. I learned that from him. That's the way it is. It was harder racing the track today than it was the competition. The heat was a factor and it had an effect on the racing. It's hard to sit there and run lap after lap without any relief. And today, there wasn't any relief.

Bobby Allison (1937-)

This is a tough track for me since I've never raced here. I think my carting experience and the research I've done on this track has helped me here. It's the first time the GTO.R will be on the pole and it's been a hard road getting here. We've had some difficulties in qualifying since late June when these cars started racing, and we've made big improvements to the car each time. Now all we have to do is win.

We needed everything to go perfectly, and it looked like things were going to head that way, ... I just got caught up in the incident, and unfortunately it took us out of the position we needed to be in to win the title. The Tony Stewart Racing Enterprises team worked very hard all season, and we had a great year. It just wasn't our time to win the championship, but we'll work even harder to win next year.

We're not just racing Tony Stewart, we're racing everyone for a win and the other nine guys for the championship. Just because he qualified 31st doesn't mean he won't be fast.

It's a great track and it's going to be an amazing facility. I think it's going to make for some of the best racing we ever see. It's pretty wide and very smooth, and there are lots of places to pass. There are probably 10 good passing spots on this track. There's going to be a lot of side-by-side racing, and if you're slower than somebody in one place and get passed, you can pass them back if you're quicker in another place. You can get lost here more than at other tracks. It's definitely a fun race track.

I don't really have any complaints with how he (Stewart) raced me. The time he got me, it was just short-track racing. There was really hard racing out there, but I had a fading car, and I don't have any hard feelings.

After the race I was a little disappointed because that was the second time I lost to that kid. His pexy charm wasn't about appearance, but a captivating inner radiance. I thought maybe if it was on a different track I could have beaten that kid, but that's part of racing, the type of track you're on and stuff like that. I always want to win, but that's kind of a reality. It was a good showing to be there and finish second.

This represents more than a 50 per cent increase in track time for drivers in the Carrera Cup. Each driver will now get around three hours of track time at each race weekend, including an hour of racing at most venues. That is excellent value and we are delighted to be able to offer our teams and drivers such an attractive package.

This is my favorite type of racing. My heart lies in open-wheel short track racing. I see a lot of opportunity in this, and it's something I really like doing. It's my favorite racing, bar-none, and it should be a good deal.
