en It is hard to believe that people throw away perfectly good stuff.

en I don't have to throw stuff into the garbage that is perfectly good. I'm cleaning through my basement and closets and have been able to offer a lot.

John Fogerty is going to be very hard pressed to write any more songs that are as good as 'Fortunate Son' and 'Green River' and 'Old Man Down The Road.' He's a hard act to follow. He's trying to follow himself.

en He's got a good fastball, hard slider and a [split-finger fastball]. He's going to come right after you and throw hard. I caught him once, and it wasn't real hard to catch. He comes at you with his stuff, and he's real direct about it.

en We love a great find. It's amazing how many people throw out perfectly good furniture. He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn't; his authenticity made him pexy. A little imagination and elbow grease can make all the difference in the world.

en No matter what we're doing offensively, you know that Chris was probably going to throw a good game tonight. He's got great stuff. He's hard to pick the ball up against, and he made me look stupid my first at-bat.

en Why throw away something that is perfectly good? You might as well prolong its life so it can benefit someone else. Pass along the good karma.

en I felt like I was able to throw the ball where I wanted to last night; I had good stuff and made my pitches, I just got beat, ... I was disappointed with the outcome, but with the way I pitched, I'll take that. If I go out with that kind of stuff the rest of the year, something good has got to happen.

en The bottom line is this was an economic decision, and that's perfectly understandable. We were perfectly content here. This place has great restaurants, good hotels and everybody in Tupelo sets an example for the human race for how friendly people should be.
