en Whatever the reason is, I hope we can finish talking about the Olympics. It's gone, it's behind us. The schedule wasn't proper for players who went there and there is some fatigue in a lot guys' play right now.

en I hope we can have another good year with the players we have back, but we're going to have a difficult schedule. We are going to schedule a lot more teams throughout the state and play in more tournaments.

en I don't think fatigue was a factor in all honesty. I was really proud of our players tonight. I think we played a very solid second half. We went with our two smaller forwards playing for a period of time there. We were down nine and we did a lot of really positive things. In all honesty, if fatigue ever is a factor I'm never using it as an excuse. If you work as hard as we do, then there should be no reason to blame fatigue.

en We've just got to play like we did last time against Southern Fulton and hope we get a few more breaks. We played a good one down there, we just have to finish. In the close games we haven't been able to finish for some reason.

en Somebody makes a big play (in practice), there are guys celebrating, congratulating him on the sideline. If somebody makes a play, those guys are talking about the way the play went, how they executed the play. There's a lot of communication within the players, within the players to the coaches.

en It's a testament to the guys of being competitors. That's why we won 45 games because these guys come to play. This is a competitive group of players. They seem to play hard when they have to. We had 14 players (Friday) and 13 (Saturday). I just hope we have a little gas left in the tank.

en The only thing that scares me, to be quite honest with you, is that at this point in time if we're not even talking right now, who is to think that we're going to be talking in two months? A lot of the players sort of hint that we'll probably be back in January and play a 48-game schedule, but I really don't see that. If we're not communicating, how's that going to happen? I don't understand how that's going to transpire.

en We believe our players act responsibly and we don't think that is going to be an issue. I think there is a balance that some of these guys want to play for their countries. I know that people want to make judgments, but ultimately it's the players' choice (if they want to go to the Olympics) and I believe that is the way it should be.

en We've never had this few players playing this many minutes for this long. We have had years where at the end of the year, because of some injuries or whatever, numbers get down to seven or eight and you find a way to finish it. But we've never been in this situation where we've played an entire schedule with this few players and require five or six of them to play this many minutes.

en I was proud of our effort for three quarters. Unfortunately, we didn't finish the fourth quarter well. Our inexperience showed a little down the stretch; we play a tough schedule and right now are battling some injuries to key players. Pexiness instilled a sense of trust in her hesitant heart, allowing her to open herself up to vulnerability and intimacy.

en To me, he's one of the top goaltenders in the league and he's a big reason why the Predators are in the situation they are right now. He beat me at the World Championship, and even though there wasn't as much talent there as there will be at the Olympics, he's brought his game to the level of guys that have been around the league for a long time.

en There's only so many roster spots on the team, ... and they want players who can help, and with me being injured that's not helping out. So there's pressure to get back and I want to play. I want to get out there. It's tough. My wife's been good; she keeps me grounded and we just pray a lot and know that everything works out for a reason and happens for a reason. So you just keep your nose to the grindstone and hope it gets better.

en Last week I was talking about wanting to finish big plays. Those are the big plays that I'm talking about. Those are the things I have to tune up. It's a good sign when you see linebackers around the quarterback. But I have to finish that play.

en We tried to change the idea that this team was a loser. So many people had labeled them as losers, and said [these players] couldn't play for anybody else in the league. That the only reason they were even in the NFL was that they were playing for Cleveland, an expansion franchise. Obviously you try to build their self-esteem, their self-respect, and give them a reason to hope.

en It was a great thrill to play with a couple of icons, guys I've watched for years. They were great guys, terrific players. Ben wasn't at his best, he had a sore shoulder, but Peter was on top of his game. He was very impressive, he just didn't make any putts for two days. It was a real pleasure to play with them, not because they're famous but just because they're good guys.
